I learned my rock'n'roll chops in the 70's as a young pup in Montreal, where clubs were open late late late, seven days a week, and anything goes. What an education. We were all vampires, never seeing the sun for weeks on end.

Some of the guys I played with in those days are no longer with us, and it was the death of one in particular a few years ago that hit particularly hard. It was then that I realized those days were truly gone forever. This song is probably the most autobiographical I've ever written.
